Pensacola Habitat for Humanity announces the election of five new board members.

The staff and current board of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity are happy to welcome new board members from the local area. Five new members have been elected to Pensacola Habitat’s board of directors. The 22-member body oversees Habitat’s activities around the Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Directors include experts in planning, management, (other areas). Newly instated board members include:

Dr. Gary Cumberland - Cumberland spent 16 years as Chief Medical Examiner for the First District of Florida and is a former Chairman of the Dept of Pathology at Sacred Heart Hospital. He currently volunteers with the Medical Staff Office for Sacred Heart Hospital.

Jennifer Fleming - Jennifer Fleming worked as an urban planner for 27 years in Pensacola and has been active with Pensacola Habitat for Humanity on the Land committee which advises on land acquisitions and development.

T.J. Jenkins- Jenkins retired from DuPont Stainmaster as territory manager, and has been active with the Pensacola Habitat Restore as a volunteer and committee member. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Impact 100 Pensacola Bay Area.

Ernest McCorvey- McCorvey is a US Army Vietnam Veteran and retired Safety Manager from the International Paper Company. He is currently the secretary and Board of Directors member of the 100 Black Men of Pensacola, Inc.

John Reble- Reble has been the Fire Chief with the City of Milton Fire Department since April 1996. He also functions as Director of Emergency Preparedness for the City of Milton, and as a member of the Pensacola Habitat ReStore committee.
